Visiting Hoover Dam was an amazing day -- an engineering wonder in its day, that now provides hydroelectric power to several states. Construction of Hoover Dam began in 1931 and was completed in 1935, 2 years ahead of schedule and under budget. That certainly would not happen today. Was a great day with good friends and beautiful weather.
