By doing a Cannonball run across the country, we made it to Colorado in three days -- in time to celebrate July 4th with Wendy and Troy. We went to Estes State Park to visit their neighbors who were camping in the area and also to go to the area's firework's display.
It was initially pouring, but we didn't care -- Wendy and I had our umbrellas -- girlie beers and all!
Troy bartered a parking spot for a grill to cook his hot dogs.
The rain stopped and the sun came out -- was a beautiful night and the fireworks were great.
