Our campground on Katie Lane. We expect to be here for 6 weeks or so and expect to do some hiking and exploring the area.
Katie Lane is a dirt road in Coal Creek Canyon -- horse country. I take morning walks looking for wildlife -- so far no deer, bears or mountain lions -- only a jack rabbit.
Beautiful downtown Golden -- home to Coors beer, a quilt museum and many quaint shops.
Did a little beer and wine tasting.
